Description
Born in France, Louis de Montfort became a priest in 1700. He traveled across France, preaching and encouraging others to develop a deep love for the Blessed Mother. Louis wrote hymns and books (including True Devotion to Mary and The Secret of the Rosary), and founded a company of priests who led Marian missions and retreats. Louis also founded the Daughters of Wisdom to teach and serve the poor.
